How to Quit Shuffle: Self-Exclude and Close Your Account
To quit Shuffle, contact its live support and ask to be permanently self-excluded, then get it confirmed in writing. When I checked on October 30, 2026, Shuffle's help center had no self-exclusion article at all. Its only published tool is Shuffle Wise gambling limits, which you can cancel after a one-day wait.
When I quit gambling, I self-excluded from every online and crypto casino I had access to, for as long as each one allowed. It isn't a perfect fix, and there are workarounds. But it made gambling harder, and that was a big step forward for me.
The catch with Shuffle: limits aren't an exit
Shuffle Wise lets you set a wager limit and a loss limit for a day, a week or a month, and they take effect instantly. But Shuffle says you can increase, reduce or cancel them after a one-day cooling-off period. A limit you can remove tomorrow won't hold you on a bad night.
Use a loss limit as a stopgap, set as low as it goes, while you ask support for the real thing.
How to quit Shuffle, step by step
- Withdraw your balance first. Check the Shuffle Vault too, if you've used it to set funds aside.
- Set the lowest loss limit you can in Shuffle Wise, so you're limited right away.
- Contact live support. Copy and paste: "I have a gambling problem. Please permanently self-exclude me and close my account so it can't be reopened, and confirm by email."
- Get it in writing. Keep the confirmation. If support offers a temporary break or limits instead, ask again for permanent.
- Cut off the VIP contact. Shuffle's VIP program has more than 50 levels with daily, weekly and monthly bonuses, rakeback and reloads, and high levels get a VIP host. Tell support you want no bonuses, emails or host contact.
Why the bonuses matter
Shuffle's VIP program pays a bonus every day based on what you wagered the day before, plus weekly and monthly bonuses on top. Each one is a reason to log back in. When you're trying to stop, a casino that pays you to come back every 24 hours is working against you. That's why the marketing has to be shut off along with the account.

Guides for other casinos (24)
Block it everywhere: how to block gambling sites on your phone and computer, and how to block gambling payments at your bank.
- Every account you have. Search your email for sign-up and promo messages to find casinos you've forgotten, and self-exclude from each one.
- Physical casinos. Provinces and states run self-exclusion programs for land-based casinos. The helplines below can tell you how to join.
Block the workarounds
- Blocking software. GamCare lists several tools, including BetBlocker (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and Fire OS) and Gamban. Install one on every device.
- Your crypto. Bank gambling blocks don't stop crypto deposits. Cash out crypto you'd be tempted to gamble with, or have someone you trust hold the keys for a while.
- Your feeds. Unfollow gambling streamers and mute casino accounts.
- Someone you trust. Tell one person what you've done.
If it still doesn't feel like enough
Self-exclusion kept me out of the casinos, but for a year and a half it didn't quiet my head. What finally did was filling that time with something else: here's how chess helped me quit gambling.
