How to Quit Rainbet: Self-Exclude and Close Your Account

To quit Rainbet, scroll to the Responsible Gaming section at the bottom of the site, choose Self-Exclusion, and click Request Self-Exclusion. Confirm with the link Rainbet emails you. After a 24-hour cooldown, a second email lets you choose how long. To close the account permanently, Rainbet requires you to finish a 24-hour exclusion and then a 90-day exclusion first, then contact support.

When I quit gambling, I self-excluded from every online and crypto casino I had access to, for as long as each one allowed. It isn't a perfect fix, and there are workarounds. But it made gambling harder, and that was a big step forward for me.

The catch with Rainbet: permanent takes 90 days

Most casinos let you choose permanent exclusion on the spot. Rainbet doesn't. Its policy is a mandatory 24-hour self-exclusion, then a 90-day exclusion, and only after both can you ask live support to make the closure permanent.

That means the decision you make today has to survive three months. Put a reminder in your calendar for day 90 that says close Rainbet for good, and tell someone you trust so they can make sure you follow through. If you only ever do the 90 days, you're back where you started.

Two other things worth knowing: Rainbet says it doesn't currently offer deposit limits (it points you to your bank or exchange instead), and Rainbet emails you when an exclusion period ends.

How to self-exclude from Rainbet, step by step

1. Withdraw your balance first. Your account will be locked and inaccessible once the exclusion starts.
2. Request self-exclusion. Scroll to Responsible Gaming at the bottom of the page, select Self-Exclusion, then Request Self-Exclusion.
3. Confirm by email. Click the link Rainbet sends to your registered address. That starts the 24-hour cooldown.
4. Choose the longest period in the second email. When the cooldown ends, Rainbet emails you instructions for choosing a duration. If you plan to close permanently, choose at least 90 days.
5. On day 90, finish it. Contact Rainbet's live chat or support email (listed in its help article) and ask for permanent closure.

Block the workarounds

• Blocking software. GamCare lists several tools, including BetBlocker (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and Fire OS) and Gamban. Install one on every device.
• Your crypto. Bank gambling blocks don't stop crypto deposits. Cash out crypto you'd be tempted to gamble with, or have someone you trust hold the keys for a while.
• Your feeds. Unfollow gambling streamers and mute casino accounts.
• Someone you trust. Tell one person what you've done.
