How to Quit Gamdom: Self-Exclude and Close Your Account
To quit Gamdom, contact its 24/7 live support and ask for your account to be permanently closed because of problem gambling, then get that confirmed in writing. Gamdom's own self-exclusion tool only blocks your account for 1, 5 or 8 days. According to Gamdom, anything longer goes through its support team.
When I quit gambling, I self-excluded from every online and crypto casino I had access to, for as long as each one allowed. It isn't a perfect fix, and there are workarounds. But it made gambling harder, and that was a big step forward for me.
The catch with Gamdom: 8 days is the longest button
Eight days isn't quitting. It's a pause. For longer breaks, Gamdom's help center says support can close your account "until you're ready to return," which describes a door left open. If you want out, ask for a permanent closure that can't be reopened, and ask them to confirm exactly that.
The 8-day block is still useful as a first step: it locks you out right away while support handles the permanent closure.
How to quit Gamdom, step by step
- Withdraw your balance first.
- Turn on the longest self-exclusion available (8 days). Look in your account's responsible gambling settings, or ask support to apply it. This covers you while the rest goes through.
- Contact live support. Gamdom says support is available 24/7. Copy and paste: "I have a gambling problem. Please close my account permanently so it can't be reopened, and confirm by email."
- Get it in writing. Keep the confirmation email. If the reply talks about "returning" or a temporary break, ask again for permanent.
- Ask them to stop all marketing. Gamdom runs a VIP program, promo codes and reloads. Say you don't want any emails, bonuses or VIP contact.
What Gamdom is
Gamdom says it was founded in 2016 as a casino community for Counter-Strike players and moved into crypto in 2020. It now offers casino games, its own "Originals" like Crash and Dice, and sports and esports betting. If you came to gambling through gaming, you're the audience it was built for.

Guides for other casinos (24)
Block it everywhere: how to block gambling sites on your phone and computer, and how to block gambling payments at your bank.
- Every account you have. Search your email for sign-up and promo messages to find casinos you've forgotten, and self-exclude from each one.
- Physical casinos. Provinces and states run self-exclusion programs for land-based casinos. The helplines below can tell you how to join.
Block the workarounds
- Blocking software. GamCare lists several tools, including BetBlocker (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and Fire OS) and Gamban. Install one on every device.
- Your crypto. Bank gambling blocks don't stop crypto deposits. Cash out crypto you'd be tempted to gamble with, or have someone you trust hold the keys for a while.
- Your feeds. Unfollow gambling streamers and mute casino accounts.
- Someone you trust. Tell one person what you've done.
If it still doesn't feel like enough
Self-exclusion kept me out of the casinos, but for a year and a half it didn't quiet my head. What finally did was filling that time with something else: here's how chess helped me quit gambling.
