Rainbet Review from a Gambling Addict's Perspective

Pixel-art Rainbet logo between two chess knights: Rainbet review from a former gambling addict

Read this before you read any other Rainbet review

I’m Andy, a former addict

I struggled with gambling addiction when I turned 18 up until my mid 20's. I accumulated roughly $100,000 worth of debt while trying to raise a family, get an education, and navigate the world.

Gambling took some of the best years of my life away from me. I can't get them back. But I hope I can help others avoid making the same mistake that I did.

This is an honest review of the online crypto casino Rainbet, from the perspective of a former gambling addict.

One thing to know up front: there is no sign-up link on this page. No promo code. No bonus. Nobody pays me if you open an account. Nearly every other review site uses what are called "affiliate codes" to try and take money from new players signing up.

I've been in the marketing industry for over a decade. I've worked with some of the largest companies in North America as a graphic designer and marketing strategist. Knowing how this world of advertising and social media works is my key to understand what's really happening behind the scenes and shed some light on these predatory campaigns.

I am creating content with a purpose:

I've been making YouTube videos as a hobby since the platform was conceived. I've followed trends, had viral hits, and dreamed of making it big as a "creator".

Nowadays, I simply want to help, and provide valuable content for anyone willing to watch or listen. My goal is to help at least one person make a positive change in their life.

Using my story, my expertise, and my passion for creating content and telling stories, to put more good into the world, and fight back against an industry that almost took everything from me.

This review exists for one reason: when you search "Rainbet review", almost every result gets paid if you sign up. I want you to find one that doesn't. Nobody pays me if you open an account, and I'd rather you didn't.

If you want to join me in pushing back against Big Gamba, share this page with someone. Tell them to read the story if they have a spare 5 minutes.

Rainbet: the bare basics

Rainbet is an online crypto casino and sportsbook. It launched in 2023 (The Esports Advocate, Mediaweek). Three years later it is one of the biggest crypto casinos on the internet.

How big? About 22 million visits in September 2026, according to Similarweb data compiled by Surgence. Only Stake, at 49.6 million, was bigger. The same report cites about $1.76 billion in trailing deposit volume, from the Business of iGaming deposit tracker built on Tanzanite data (Surgence). That is money going in, not profit. But it tells you how many people are feeding it.

The company behind it is RBGAMING N.V. Sweden's gambling regulator lists it on the island of Anjouan, in the Union of the Comoros (Spelinspektionen). It holds an Anjouan internet gaming licence (FinTelegram). Mediaweek describes it running on Curaçao and Anjouan offshore licensing, a setup that allows "minimal regulation, faster onboarding, and limited upfront KYC" (Mediaweek).

Rainbet calls itself a "crypto casino and sportsbook company": casino games plus sports betting (The Esports Advocate). Money goes in as crypto, or through card-to-crypto and local bank transfers like Interac in Canada and Pix in Brazil (FinTelegram).

What The short version
Operator RBGAMING N.V., registered in Anjouan (Comoros)
Licence Offshore Anjouan licence. No licence in the US, UK, Australia, Sweden or Ontario
Money Mostly crypto, plus card-to-crypto and some local bank methods
Products Casino games and sports betting
United States, UK On its own restricted list
Australia Illegal for it to operate there, per Mediaweek
Canada Not on the restricted list. Not regulated in Ontario
Sweden Banned by the regulator in July 2026

Rainbet's terms list the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain and Austria as restricted, according to FinTelegram (FinTelegram). Mediaweek says it is "illegal to operate in Australia" (Mediaweek). Canada is not on Rainbet's restricted list. But Rainbet is not on iGaming Ontario's list of regulated sites (iGaming Ontario).

Here is the strange part. According to Blask, the US, Canada, Australia and the UK make up most of Rainbet's global search interest, even though the brand does not actively operate in most of them (Blask). The marketing reaches people the casino says it doesn't serve.

In July 2026, Sweden's Spelinspektionen banned RBGAMING from offering gambling in Sweden, with immediate effect. The regulator found the site let users pick Swedish kronor and was marketed through Swedish-language websites. The company was invited to comment and had not responded by the time of the decision (Spelinspektionen).

Why does the licence matter to you? Because when something goes wrong, there's nobody local to complain to. iGaming Ontario's own warning about unregulated sites: payouts can be delayed or never paid, deposits aren't guaranteed to be safe, and there are fewer responsible gambling tools (iGaming Ontario). As I covered in my Rainbet quit guide, Rainbet says it doesn't currently offer deposit limits. If you're an addict, that's the one tool you need most.

The branding: Rainbet wants to be the next Stake

Rainbet looks a lot like Stake. Mediaweek says it closely resembles Stake in design, colours, layout and games (Mediaweek). It copies the playbook too. If you've read my Stake review, you'll recognize every move.

Streamers first. In September 2025, Adin Ross, one of the biggest gambling streamers on Kick and previously linked to Stake, announced a Rainbet partnership. The money has never been confirmed. GamblingNews reported he "supposedly" got $100 million upfront plus $50 million a year. Ross himself claimed a figure Mediaweek put at AUD$143 million. Kick briefly banned Ross as news of the deal spread, then restored his account the same day. Neither Ross nor Kick explained it (GamblingNews, Mediaweek).

Then it bought the shelf. Rainbet announced it is the first official sponsor of the Slots category on Kick. That's not one streamer's overlay. It's the brand sitting in Kick's navigation for anyone browsing slots streams (Blask). If you're wondering what Kick really is, I wrote about whether Kick is a gambling site.

Esports and fighters. Rainbet became main jersey sponsor of Ninjas in Pyjamas' Counter-Strike 2 team in 2025 (The Esports Advocate). In August 2026 it signed UFC fighter Sean Strickland as an ambassador, with a video where he calls traditional casinos outdated and invites viewers to join (LowKickMMA).

Meme reels everywhere. Mediaweek describes meme-style videos of creators losing money, then doubling it on Rainbet games, pushed through Instagram, clips, streams and Discord with voucher codes, referral links, cashback and free spins. One creator's video passed 9.7 million Instagram views (Mediaweek). I break down the wider tactic in how casinos use influencers to promote gambling.

What that marketing looks like to an addict

  • Instant games are built for speed. Crypto casino games like crash, dice and mines settle in seconds. No waiting. No time to think. For an addict, that's the danger zone: bet, lose, bet again before the loss even lands.
  • Cashback feels like getting paid back. Creators push Rainbet with "extra cashback and free spins" (Mediaweek). It feels like a refund. It's a tiny slice of your losses, handed back to keep you playing.
  • Crypto puts distance between you and the money. A few clicks in a wallet doesn't feel like rent money. That gap is exactly where the damage hides.
  • The streamer is never you. You watch someone win huge on stream. You don't see whose money it was, or what their deal pays. The feeling I chased for years was that big-win moment. The stream sells it every night.
  • No deposit limits. Rainbet says it doesn't offer them (my quit guide). On a bad night, nothing stops you but you. That's not enough when you're sick.
  • "Not available here" isn't a wall. When the ads reach countries on the restricted list, the message is clear: the rules are for show.

None of this is an accident. It's designed for the person who can't stop.

Why every other Rainbet review wants you to sign up

Search "Rainbet review" and you'll find page after page with a promo code. That's because most of them are affiliates. The casino affiliate programs StatsDrone lists pay a revenue share of roughly 10% to 65% (StatsDrone). That share is based on net gaming revenue, which is basically what players lose minus costs. It's typically paid for the player's lifetime on the platform (Track360).

So when a review site sends you to Rainbet, it gets a cut of your losses. For as long as you keep losing. The longer you play, the more they earn. That's not a review. It's a sales funnel.

This page works the other way round:

  • No links to Rainbet.
  • No promo codes, no bonuses, no referral income.
  • Funded by Founders who pay $3 a month, not by casinos.

Want to fight back? Here's how:

  1. Skip the affiliate links. Every click on a promo code pays someone to send more people in.
  2. Report unmarked promotion. If a creator pushes Rainbet without saying they're paid, report it to the platform.
  3. Send me tips. Know something about Rainbet, its deals or its streamers? Use the tip line.
  4. Share this page. Send it to anyone about to search for a Rainbet review.
  5. Become a Founder. Fund the investigations directly. Become a Founder.

The verdict

Rainbet is an offshore crypto casino run from Anjouan. It's restricted in the US, the UK and Australia, banned by Sweden's regulator, and unregulated in Ontario. Yet its search interest comes mostly from those same countries. It offers no deposit limits, and it grew on streamers, meme reels and a Kick sponsorship.

It's built to look like fun with your friends. It's built to work like Stake. For someone like me, that's the worst possible combination.

Do not gamble here.
