Stake.us Promo Code: What It Actually Costs You
You searched for a Stake.us promo code. There isn't one on this page, but not for the reason you think...
I'm Andy, a former gambling addict. From 18 to my mid-20s I built up roughly $100,000 of gambling debt. I've also worked in marketing for over a decade, so I know exactly what that code in the search results is for. Nobody pays me if you sign up. My mission is to fight back against the gambling industry by shining a light on the practices they use to capture new customers.
What a Stake.us promo code actually is
On a sweepstakes site, the code usually unlocks "free" coins: a free Stake Cash offer, often with the affiliate's own name baked into the code. But the coins aren't the point. The code is a tracking tag. It tells Stake.us which affiliate sent you, so that affiliate gets paid.
Casino review sites earn affiliate commissions, most often revenue share: a cut, often 25 to 50%, of what the players they send in lose, for as long as those players keep playing (StatsDrone, Track360).
So the person handing you the code earns more the more you spend and lose. The "free" in free Stake Cash is the bait. The review is the hook.
What the bonus really costs you
Regular online casinos attach a wagering requirement to bonuses: an amount you have to bet before bonus money can be withdrawn. Stake.us puts a playthrough rule on its Stake Cash that works the same way. Here's the math on a bonus.
Made-up example, not the actual terms at Stake.us: Say a casino offers a $100 bonus with a 40x wagering requirement. You have to bet $4,000 before you can withdraw it. If the games keep about 4% of what you bet on average, that's about $160 in expected losses to unlock $100. And that's only the average. Plenty of people lose the bonus and their deposit long before they get there.
On Stake.us, the money runs through two coins. You buy Gold Coins, which can't be cashed out. Stake Cash comes "free" bundled with Gold Coin packages, daily bonuses and promos, and once you've played it through, you can redeem it for crypto or cash prizes (Legal Sports Report). So you pay money, get a coin you can win real money with, and gamble it on slots, live dealer tables and Stake's own Originals. That's the whole trick.
Then there's the ladder: a daily bonus, weekly and monthly bonuses, a wheel, and a VIP program with bonus drops and a personal VIP host (Legal Sports Report). Each one is a reason to open the app again tomorrow. For someone trying to stop, that's the worst habit you can build. And every step, dollars to Gold Coins to Stake Cash to crypto, puts more distance between you and the money that actually left your account.
What you should know about Stake.us before you sign up
- Same company, different label. Stake.us launched in 2022 and is run by Sweepsteaks Limited, the company behind Stake.com. It calls itself a social or sweepstakes casino (Front Office Sports, Legal Sports Report).
- States keep shutting the door. As of mid-2026 it was restricted in about 20 states (Legal Sports Report). Ten states now ban sweepstakes casinos outright, and Stake.us stopped offering games in Oklahoma after October 30, 2026 (Covers).
- Florida is suing. In August 2026, Florida's attorney general sued Stake and VGW, seeking to stop them and recover player losses (Covers). Those are allegations, not rulings.
- Players are suing too. A Virginia class action naming Stake.us, Drake and Adin Ross was sent to private arbitration in July 2026 (Music Business Worldwide). In Minnesota, a player who says he lost more than $80,000 is suing to recover his losses, and the judge refused to send it to arbitration (Minnesota Lawyer). These are allegations, not rulings.
- 21 and over, on paper. Lawsuits allege the marketing reaches people much younger anyway (Complex).
- Your state's self-exclusion list won't cover it. Sweepstakes sites aren't state-licensed. Stake.us self-exclusion runs up to indefinite and can't be undone, and Stake.com is a separate account.

If you're about to sign up anyway
I'm not going to lecture you. I've been where you might be right now: tab open, code copied, telling yourself it's fine. So just a few questions. Answer them honestly, only to yourself.
- Is this money you'd be fine never seeing again?
- Are you trying to win back something you already lost?
- Would you tell the people closest to you that you're doing this tonight?
- Have you told yourself "it's not real gambling" so it would feel okay?
If any of those landed, that's not a judgement. It's information. Here's what actually helps:
- Already have an account? How to Quit Stake.us: Self-Exclude From the Sweepstakes Casino.
- Block gambling sites on your phone and computer, so the next late-night urge hits a wall.
- Block gambling payments at your bank.
- Talk to someone. Canada (Alberta): 1-866-332-2322. US: 1-800-MY-RESET. UK: GamCare 0808 8020 133. Australia: 1800 858 858.

Questions people ask
Is there a Stake.us promo code?
Not here, and there never will be. Codes on other sites unlock "free" coins, but their real job is tracking: they tell Stake.us which affiliate sent you so that affiliate gets paid. Pawn of God has no codes and no casino money.
Who makes money when I use a Stake.us promo code?
The affiliate whose code it is. Casino affiliates are commonly paid a revenue share, often 25 to 50% of what the players they send in lose, for as long as those players keep playing.
What is a wagering requirement?
It's how much you have to bet before bonus money can be withdrawn. In a made-up example, a $100 bonus with a 40x requirement means betting $4,000. If the games keep about 4% of what you bet, that's about $160 in expected losses to unlock $100.
Is Stake.us real gambling?
It calls itself a social or sweepstakes casino. But you pay for Gold Coins, get Stake Cash with them, and Stake Cash can be redeemed for crypto or cash prizes. Florida's attorney general and players in several states allege that's illegal gambling. Those are allegations, not rulings.
